Davinci Resolve for iPad is Here Now

Davinci Resolve is a popular video editing app for Windows and Mac Users. This software was available for Windows and Mac earlier but now this has been released for iPad as well. Yes, you heard that right Davinci Resolve for iPad is finally here. However, there’s some caveat to that. This app is only available for iPads with an A12 Bionic Chipset or higher and the device should be on iPadOS 16.

Blackmagic itself recommends using Davinci Resolve on iPad Pro M1 or M2 model if you want the best experience. Some features will be limited to the iPad having the M1 and M2 chipset, such as connecting an external display and editing ProRes footage. Also, some iPads might be restricted to video editing in HD only.

The interface is quite similar to that of the PC version. You will get similar features like color correction, cloud collaboration, and editing. You can connect your mouse and keyboard for editing or use the touchscreen for that. Users can also import existing Davinci Resolve 18 projects on Davinci Resolve for iPad.

The paid version of Davinci Resolve, i.e., Davinci Resolve Studio is also available for iPad. You will have to pay the in-app subscription fee if you want to get features of Davinci Resolve Studio on your iPad. Davinci Resolve for iPad can be downloaded from the App Store.
