Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 on the 17th of March Thursday. The smartphones come with a powerful MediaTek processor along with liquid cooling technology. Both the phones are 5G. Currently, the smartphones are available for pre-booking and will go on sale later by the end of this month. Redmi K50 Pro And Redmi K50: Price
Talking about Redmi K50 Pro, the price of this smartphone starts at CNY 2,999 (estimates to Rs. 35,900) for the base variant i.e, 8GB + 128GB variants, CNY 3,299 (estimates to Rs. 39,500) for 8GB + 256GB variant and CNY 3,599 i.e about Rs. 43,100 for 12GB + 256GB variant. Redmi K50 will also come in 12GB + 512GB variant which will cost CNY 3,999 i.e. about Rs. 47,900.
Coming to the Redmi K50 price, its price starts at CNY 2,399 i.e about Rs. 28,700 for 8GB + 128GB variants. Redmi K50 also has 8GB + 256GB Variant which costs CNY 2,399 (estimates to Rs. 39,500), 12GB + 256GB variant costing CNY 3,599 (approximately Rs. 43,100). The higher-end variant of the phone comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage costs CNY 3,999 (estimates to be Rs. 47,900). Both the phones are available for pre-booking and will go on sale later at the end of this month.
Redmi K50 Pro: Specification
Redmi K50 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. The phone runs MIUI 13 based on Android 12. It features a 6.67-inch Samsung-made OLED 2K display having a 120Hz refresh rate with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ support. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
The Redmi K50 Pro has a triple rear camera with the primary camera being 108MP 1/1.52-inch Samsung S5KHM2 primary sensor having support for OIS. There is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 119-degree field-of-view, and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera is a 20MP Sony IMX596 sensor.
It features UFS 3.1 of up to 512GB (not expandable). It has various connectivity options including- Wi-Fi 6, 5G, GPS, Glonass, Baidu, and Type-C port The phone is packed with a 5,000mAH battery and has 120W fast charging which the company claims to completely charge the phone in 19 minutes. Moreover, it comes with a stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos support.
Redmi K50: Specification
The specifications for the Remi K50 are the same as that of K50 pro in terms of SIM, connectivity, software, and display. Redmi K50 is powered by a 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC and paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage (not expandable).
The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP 1/2-inch Sony IMX582 primary sensor with the support for OIS. It has an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 119-degree field of view and a 2MP macro sensor. Redmi K50 has a 20MP Sony IMX596 sensor on the front.
Sensors on the board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, ambient color temperature, infrared blaster, compass, ultrasonic distance sensor, and gyroscope. Redmi K50 comes features a 5,500mAH battery with 67W fast charging and the company claims that it will charge up to 80 percent in just 30 minutes. It comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
