iPad Air 5: Price And Availability
The iPad Air is priced at $599 for the base variant. In India, the pricing of the iPad Air 5 starts from Rs. 54,999 for the 64GB storage variant coming with Wi-Fi connectivity. The new Apple iPad Air 5 will come in 5 new colors- Space Grey, Pink, Purple, Starlight, and Blue. The pre-order of the new iPad Air will begin from 11 March and will be available from March 18.
iPad Air 5: Specifications
The iPad Air 5 is powered by the Apple M1 chip which is 50% more powerful than the A15 Bionic chip. As per Apple, the CPU is 60% faster than the previous-gen iPad Air while the GPU is 2x faster. The iPad Air 5 features a 10.9-inch liquid retina display with a fingerprint reader on the standby button. Out of the box, the iPad Air 5 will run on iPadOS 15.
The new Apple iPad Air will feature a 12MP ultra-wide camera on the front with the support for the center stage (Apple feature to keep the subject of the video in the frame during the video calls). It will have two variants-64GB and 256GB storage variants. Both the variants will be available with Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi+ cellular connectivity.
