Instagram New Moderator Option Added To Live Video Stream

Recently Instagram launched a new Moderator option in the live stream. By adding this moderator one can remove the viewer from the live stream and even can report the unnecessary comments. With this new moderator option the moderator can even turn off the comments for the specific viewer whom they feel can create hindrance in the stream. Earlier the option to moderate is only for the person who starts the stream.

Instagram announced the new option of moderator in the tweets. This option will allow the user to use this feature during the live stream. A creator can use this option by tapping the three dots on the comment section. These moderators can be used from the list of suggested accounts and also by searching accounts from the search bar.

Instagram has been working on this project since last year. Earlier reported that Instagram is working on the feature that allows the user to moderate while having a live stream. The photo-sharing platform owned by meta has recently added a new feature focusing on videos. Last month Meta launched Facebook Reels globally in 150 countries.

Aimed at giving users more control over how they interact with social media. To give users more control over the Instagram account, the social media company has rolled out a “Take a Break” feature to the users globally.
